Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all orders placed on the The White Home website or by telephone; placing your order this way indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for your records. The White Home is part of Go Modern Ltd.

  1. Warranty
    All of our products are covered by our 1 year warranty. If the product is received and there is a problem we will make it right within 21 days of your receipt. Please check your product upon delivery. This warranty starts on the day following your receipt of the product. If there is a problem with your product please email: sales@thewhitehome.co.uk
  2. General
    These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. To order goods through the The White Home website you must be at least 18 years of age and accept delivery within the UK. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.
  3. Product Information
    We have collated the product specifications, images and other information published on our website from information provided by suppliers, manufacturers, publications, or gathered from public-domain sources. At The White Home we endeavour to ensure this information is as accurate and up to date as possible however we cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. All actions taken by the user of the website are the responsibility of the individual.
  4. Payment and Price
    The total price payable for the goods will be stated at the time when you place your order and confirmed in our order acknowledgement. If the price published for the goods is wrong due to an error or omission The White Home is not obliged to sell the product at the incorrect price. Instead we will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time of placing your order.
  5. Availability of Goods
    All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses suffered by you if we do not supply the goods.
 
  1. Delivery Charges
    All prices on our website are exclusive of delivery charges. We apply different delivery charges for items of a different size and weight. We also apply surcharges for Saturday deliveries. Prices are for delivery to most Mainland UK addresses. Other delivery addresses will incur additional charges and may incur longer delivery times (e-mail us at info@gomodern.co.uk for a quotation and delivery time).
  2. Delivery Times
    Delivery of stock items will normally be made within 5-10 working days from clearance of payment. We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods. If we are temporarily out of stock we will notify you of this position and you should allow up to 45 days for dispatch of the goods. You will always have the right to cancel the order if the delivery timescales we give you are not acceptable to you.
  3. Product Guarantees
    All products supplied are covered by the terms and conditions of the Manufacturers Guarantee for a period of 12 months. Should your purchased item develop a manufacturers fault within twelve months of your date of purchase we shall either replace or repair it as we deem most appropriate. This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse and general wear and tear.
  4. Returned Goods
    We offer a no quibble 7-day returns policy. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason whatsoever you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from date of delivery and receive a full refund including applicable delivery charges. It is your responsibility to return any such items in a pristine saleable condition in suitable packaging for transit. Goods received back incomplete, damaged or in any condition other than saleable, will be returned to you and the cost of return carriage charged to your account. Prior to returning any products please email us at sales@thewhitehome.co.uk or call 0845 652 0332 within 7 days from the date of delivery. If you do not return goods within 7 days from informing us that you wish to cancel your order your right to cancel will be revoked.
  5. Other
    You will own the goods once we have received your payment in full. We will issue you with an electronic invoice once we have dispatched the goods to you. Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions.
